Soft Tissue Mobilization

What is Soft Tissue Mobilization?

This widely used, long-standing treatment goes by many names. The most common name in the field is called Graston Technique, others refer to it as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, for some simply call it ‘scraping’.

This treatment of many names utilizes polished stainless steel tools to stimulate soft tissue healing. It looks painful, but the discomfort is mild at best.  Here is a video of Dr. Curran Dougherty with some information on this effective technique.

All of the chiropractors, in both locations, are experienced in the application of these instrument-assisted myofascial techniques.
